I find these three elements to be important in choosing a good starting class. Some also lack good resource regeneration for more powerful setups. Some classes can be very painful in starting from scratch because they either lack AoE or good speed modifiers, especially early on. At the same time, I’ve come to realize that not all classes are equal when it comes to leveling. Generally, I’ll look at the seasonal sets for each class and pick someone whose class set does well at the 2 and 4 piece bonuses. On the other hand, if you want some basic tips on getting to 70 and grabbing your Seasonal set in a timely manner, this blog is suited for you.įor myself, the most important thing in a new season is determining which class to start with. But for the solo player, what are some good methods for leveling? If you’re looking for a post on reaching 70 super fast, this probably isn’t the best spot for you. This build is not SUPER optimized for MASSACRE (S28, you should be doing it)|īut it doesn’t need to be, given how easy it is to level.Starting from scratch can either be a pain or a lot of fun depending on what your goal is during a new season. It could be any of these: Nayr’s, Reilena’s, Bloodtide or Maltorius. You have a 100% chance to get something godly. TLDR: Challenge Rift -> Attempt Deaths Breath upgrade and Blood Shard gambles for a good legendary.įor a leveling Necromancer, you’re in luck. Necromancer Leveling – Quick Navigation: Leveling Build | Summary | Leoric’s Crown? | Notes | Fresh Level 70! !!! Challenge Rift Material Spending !!!Īs mentioned in our general all classes leveling guide, you SHOULD be doing the Challenge Rift and WISELY be spending the resulting materials from it. I’ll be pasting this reminder in all leveling related content. People forget that massacre sucks for items, and without the cache you’ll be weak at 70. Saving is a no-brainer for those getting boosted, or giga-grinders for Week 1. You DONT have to wait to completely unlock your Altar of Rites. If you’re getting boosted? save the cache is your best bet – you simply don’t need the EXP and power boost to leveling. Saving the cache vastly slows your leveling speed (in comparison), but you still get the huge bonus from Node A.
